A Nice Blue Marlin Being Revived

Azores – Well the season is winding down for most of the boats in the Azores. We follow to boats primarily, the Xacara and the Habitat. Both of these boats had really good years, with almost all of their fish over the 500 lbs mark.

Capt. Ian Carter heads up the Xacara and has been fishing on the Azores for for more than 10-Years. He has been credited as one of the first guys to start fishing Ascension Island as well. Highlights included a four fish day with a 225, 550, 650 and 700 lbs.

Capt. Filipe Goulart runs the Habitat. He is a native of Fail and has been fishing these waters since 1999. Highlights included a three fish day with a 600, 800 and 950 lbs.
