BLUE MARLIN ON LEGACY

North Carolina, USA – Boats from Hatteras to Oregon Inlet are getting plenty of shots at Blue Marlin. Boats are seeing as many as seven (7) in a day with most getting 2-3 shots a day. Top Boat thus far was Skirt Chaser going 4-5 on Blue Marlin out of Oregon Inlet. Most fish are in the 200-400 lbs range, with a 500 lbs. Blue Marlin coming off the Swordfish.

The Blue Marlin are not the only Billfish out there though, with most boats getting a couple shots at White Marlin and even a few Sailfish. Top Boat on White Marlin was Retriever who went 4-8 out of Hatteras.

Plenty of other gamefish being caught as well with yellowfin tuna, wahoo and dolphin all being caught with abundance. It appears the summertime bite has started, which can only mean Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey should start seeing larger waves of fish.
