Virginia Beach, Va – There is  great fishing and there is EPIC fishing and the boats off of Virginia Beach have been seeing just that. We reported that there were 140 White Marlin released between 9 boats about 10 days ago and we said, that can’t be beat. Man, were we wrong. Last week, the fleet of 16 boats caught 326 White Marlin, which is over 20 fish per boat. The top boat caught 41 White Marlin and 1 Blue Marlin in ONE DAY!

We have NEVER heard of these kind of numbers on White Marlin. Usually the best numbers come out of the Dominican and Venezuela, where they will see double digit days, but not 40 White Marlin.

While we hope we see conditions this good again next year, a 20 AVERAGE fish count is about as good as it gets.
