St Thomas,USVI – So with the passing of the moon this past week we’ve seen the last of the major fishing in St. Thomas this year. And yet another fantastic season!
Though we didn’t see a lot of large fish, we saw consistent bites on virtually
every moon in this year’s season. We’ve said it before – in-season and on the moon there is no more reliable blue marlin fishery on the planet…boats this year saw multiple fish per day on average, as many as 10+ on rare occasions. Considering this is blue marlin, that’s beyond extraordinary.
Come December we’ll be publishing the Billfish Report’s Top 10 Billfisheries of the Year. To be sure, St. Thomas has made its case.
