We were very saddened to hear that one of the legends in our sport  has passed away. Probably most known in recent years for chasing big blue marlin line records in Madeira, Stewart was always looking for the next fishery. His boat Chunda with Capt. Bark Garnsey were always chasing records.

• First Angler to catch Two Grander Blue Marlin – 1,141-pounder and 1,038-pounder in Madeira

• 6 lb Atlantic Blue Marlin record at 336 lbs
• 8 lb Atlantic Blue Marlin Record at 562 lbs
• 16 lb Atlantic Blue Marlin record at 820 lbs
• 20 lb record at 714 lbs
• 30 lb record at 872 lbs.
