Canary Islands – Something going on in the Canaries…when a boat goes 2 for 16 on Spearfish.  But that’s exactly what happened on the Cavalier (www.bluemarlin3.com)in Gran Canaria.  Pulling lures all day, 14 spears over the course of the day didn’t seem hungry, but two did take and were released.

All in all a bizarre day – can’t say recent memory recalls that many spears anywhere in the world on one boat.
