Morehead City, NC – Citation’s fish is disqualified!!!!!! Mate did not have a license and tried to get one on the way back in, so they knew it. Very sad for a great fish for the guys on the Citation. Carnivore takes 1st and $1,000,000!
Must have been a tough call for the Tournament. Nobody won this one!!!!

i personally think that this was the wrong call by the tournament. the mate not having a fishing license had nothing to do with the “citation” catching the tournament record million dollar fish. i could see if they were fishing out of bounds, not meeting terminal tackle requirements, or doing something that gave them an unfair advantage over the fleet, but the MATE not having a fishing license, really?????
