36 boats participating in the HVOO this year, and results of this first tournament in the NC Governor’s Cup series have been pretty good so far.  Nine releases on Day 1, only two on Day 2, but rebounding with five more releases of blues today.  Seas apparently have been flat and conditions have been good.

Highlight thus far is a 511-pound blue on the Low Profile, caught on Day 2 of the tournament.  That boat remains in second place in the standings, which as of today are as follows:

1st place – Wired Up (1000 points, 2 blues, 1 white)

2nd place – Low Profile (511 points, 1 blue)

3rd place – Sea Striker (400 points, 1 blue)
