Cape Verdes – Capt. Brad Philipps is running the Hooker for the summer season, taking a little break from Guatemala. It appears Capt. Philipps has brought his great luck from the Pacific over to the Atlantic. Over the last week, The Hooker raised 44 Blue Marlin, had 34 Bites and released 16. These were not small fish either, with average around 400 lbs. Largest fish was over 650 lbs (pictured above). While there are certainly slow days where boats only see a couple fish, but this season that is becoming rare. Congratulations to Capt. Philipps and Crew on a great week of fishing!
