Guatemala – There is some excellent Sailfish action going on down at Casa Vieja Lodge. Over the last three days Rum Line, Spindrift and Release have raised 210 Sailfish and 7 Blue Marlin. Capt. Nicho Alvarrenga on Spindrift released 47 Sailfish on 65 bites. Capt. Chris Sheeder on Rum Line released 44 Sailfish on 74 bites and Capt. David Salazar on Release managed 28 Sailfish on 46 bites and released a Blue Marlin. This is usually a good time to pick up a Blue Marlin, so if you want to catch Sailfish while waiting for a Blue Marlin now is a good time.
