Los Suenos, Costa Rica – Sailfish, Striped Marlin and Blue Marlin are all making themselves known offshore. While you can catch fish year round here, the “High Season” generally starts in November and now in early December almost all boats are now fishing. We are getting some really good Sailfish numbers with Capt. Bubba Carter on Tijereta releasing 30 Sailfish over the last 2-Days. Capt. MJ Alligood on Epic released 14 Sailfish while Capt. Mitch Pierson on Shotgun released a Blue Marlin and 10 Sailfish. There have been quite a few Striped Marlin around as well with Spanish Fly, Sea Angel, Epic & Good Day all getting into the action.

This is just the start of the season and we should see steady action into April, so stay tuned here at Billfish Report for all fishing off Costa Rica.
