Rockport, Texas – Team Legacy has set a new pending Texas State Record for Blue Marlin, weighing a 972 lbs. Blue Marlin. This fish beat the 25-Year old record by almost 100 lbs. Capt. Kevin Deerman was at the helm of the Legacy and put Angler Richard Richardson on the fish. It took them just 20 Minutes to get the fish to the boat. The fish was caught as a part of the annual Bastante – John Uhr Memorial Tournament.
