Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – The Blue Marlin have started to make their presence felt out of Cap Cana Marina. White Marlin may still dominate the numbers, but the summer Blue Marlin bite has officially started. Chispa had an impressive outing going 3-3 on Blue Marlin as well as 9-15 on White Marlin. Keep Fishin’ was in the mix as well on the Blue Marlin going 2-3 as well as 5-8 on White Marlin. Waterman and Lady Lola have both also released 2 Blue Marlin in a day. Most boats are seeing at least 1-2 Blue Marlin in their wake, which should only build as the summer starts. White Marlin are still plentiful, with a realistic shot at 10+ in a day.
