Reef off to a flyer!

Captain Billy Billson on the Viking II reports some fantastic fishing the first few days of the season – with seven bites in the first three days of fishing.  First fish released was a 150 black, but after a few more “rats” British angler Tim Lonsdale released a 950 – largest fish we’ve seen in Australia this year!  Reports of an 800 on the same boat but we haven’t confirmed that with the Captain.  One thing’s for sure – these won’t be the largest we’ll see!

A few other blacks being caught, to 700 pounds…we’re all hoping this is a harbinger of fantastic things to come!

Pics to come…
