Kona the undebatable winner of Blue Marlin World Cup!

After a pretty extraordinary day of fishing all around the world – with some false alarms on qualifying fish on several occasions – Kona proved to be the only fishery in this year’s tournament to find a qualifying fish…three, in fact, with the Maui Jim boating a 729 blue to take the winner-take-all prize.  Sea Genie won the Big Blue Challenge – the first winner since 2008, with a 585 blue.  The other qualifying fish was a 525 on the Five Star.
