Hot Bite in the Mid-Atlantic

White Marlin for Bill Collector II

North Carolina to Maryland – The bite this year could be best described as steady. We were getting good reports from one boat to the other, but nothing like we have seen over the last few days. While White Marlin tend to dominate, but there were plenty of Blues and Sails mixed in. We had reports of at least 2 Billfish Grand Slams.

Here is a sample of some of the reports we are getting:

Oregon Inlet, NC – Bill Collector II went 3-4 on White Marlin and 2-2 on Sailfish.

Virginia Beach, VA – Poor Girl released 8 White Marlin.

Ocean City, MD – Canyon Blues released 3 White Marlin.

Pirates Cove, NC – Grand Slam for Summer Girl (Blue, White, Sail).

Pirates Cove, NC – First Crack released 6 White Marlin and 3 Sailfish.

Virginia Beach, VA – Canyon Express released 7 White Marlin and a Sailfish.
