500+ Club – June proved to be an excellent month for large Marlin from around the World. Although, heavily dominated by Blue Marlin, we did have two Black Marlin reported to us from Panama. We are VERY proud to report that after a slow year in 2011, it appears Madeira is back in normal form, releasing more Blue Marlin over 500 lbs than any other fishery in June, with 15 fish reported to us. We also added two Grander Marlin to our list, both coming from the Cape Verde Islands. This should all bode well for the Blue Marlin World Cup, coming up this week.
