Big Blues Invade Cape Verdes

Blue Marlin on the Amelia

BLUE MARLIN ON AMELIA

Cape Verdes Islands – It is still very early in the season, but the numbers are undeniable. There have been twenty-two (22) Blue Marlin released over 500 lbs. over the last week or three a day between the fleet. Cal Rei was the top boat, releasing six (6). Almost every boat we have spoken to has at least hooked up with a big girl. Give this fisheries reputation, I would not bet against a Grander coming out of here soon.
