Bazaruto Starts out Right!

600 lbs Black Marlin for Capt. Duarte Rato

Bazaruto, Mozambique – The “other” Black Marlin fishery has started out just how they like it. Capt. Duarte Rato was reporting big schools of tuna weeks ago and we all know what that means. The big girls and their boyfriends have shown up with force. In just a few days of fishing, Capt. Duarte has a 700 lbs. and 600 lbs Black marlin. Quatro weighed a 935 lbs black after it unfortunately came up dead. Plenty of “small” fish too from 300-400 lbs. Citation let a 30o lbs fish go and Marlin released a 350 class fish.

Contact me at hook@billfishreport.com if you want to get in touch with Capt. Duarte to get on one of these big black marlin.
