Kona Blue Marlin in Flight - Photo by KJ Robinson

Kona, HI – After a below average year for Kona in 2010, the boys are experiencing a great “off-season” bite thus far in 2011. They are seeing good size and numbers on Blue Marlin as well as Striped Marlin and Spearfish. Kona is the only location that can claim a Grander Marlin in every month of the year. Thus far, the fleet has produced two (2) fish over 900 lbs and three (3) over 700 lbs.
