Cape Verdes Blue Bite Continues

Cape Verdes Blue Marlin - Clark Smith

Cape Verde Islands – The unofficial Blue Marlin Capital of the world continues to see great numbers. It is not uncommon to see 5+ shots a day and for that matter, that could be considered an “average” day. Size and number is what makes this fishery spectacular with plenty of fish over the 500 lbs mark and a couple over the magical mark being seen.

Here are some recent reports

Dreamin On – 3-6 on Blue Marlin, largest fish around 750 lbs.

Onda Emma – 3-5 on Blue Marlin, largest fish around 500 lbs.

Amelia – 4-5 on Blue Marlin, largest fish around 400 lbs.
