Ascension Island – For the first time ever, we have video footage of a Black Marlin swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. While there have been historical captures of Black Marlin in Western Africa and Brazil (primarily by commercial boats) this is the first time a Black Marlin has been filmed underwater in the Atlantic. This incredible video was taken by Nick Filmalter while diving off Ascension Island.
